Quest are doing 125 009 tests per day.
In 20 days they have done what we have taken 6 months including over 3 months of lockdown to carry out.

But let's find fault with others!

It's not about volume, so what are you on about?

And this is the international thread?

Well, the Russians were the first in space. Their agriculture is mostly organic and self-dependent. I personally would stick with the Russian vaccine trial, long before extending my arm to the lobby-dependent, heavily-commercialized, scandal-prone, FDA approved US pharma.
Unfortunately, in the current situation, a study using phages can currently only be placed into action in Russia and Georgia, two countries with bacteriophage production, and the use of phages in daily practice. Russia also has a lot of experience with the preventive use of phages in times of natural disasters on a large number of people. In Europe and the United States, there are questions towards the production of phage preparations, but to date, there is no relevant legislation.

First in space yet never released the documents of the cosmonauts who died or were left in space. These documents only got released slowly in recent years with many still not disclosed.

So on the one hand they can be first to something but on the other hand they love to play down the many people die in the process to make it seem very rosey.
So about the same as the US.

It is also not right to shoot down big pharma entirely. Big pharma, love or hate them, have produced fantastic drugs over the years for profit but it also saved millions of lives. Without big pharma the aid epidemic would look completely different today as just one example.
That's only because we leave things up to big pharma.

Is there a spike in STD's as well? Surely that is worse than catching COVID-19?

In the same way that processed foods are often the cause of allergies as highly processed gluten for example is not recognized as gluten by many and their bodies try to fight it as a foreign body (hence allergy).
Most people who think they're allergic to gluten aren't. Placebo controlled studies have demonstrated this.

In a similar way, the vaccines seem to trigger the immune system to overreact in the future, unlike immunuty taught by the real thing.
There are rare bad immune reactions. Catching the real thing of various diseases can cause the same.

What's the point of doing this but only have it come into force in 10 days' time?

Smells exactly like when UK went into lockdown 10 days late now doesn't it? I'm sensing a trend.

Hopefully the majority of people will now take wearing a mask serously before it becomes mandated. It's freaked me out going to the shops and it's just me wearing a mask and this is in a small suburb of about 6000 people where 10 people have died.

The craziest is when I put on a mask and sanitize my hands before going into a shop (because I'm worried about spreading to others) and then seeing an old person walk in like they're not in the vunerable group.

Anyway I guess /rant

Where do you live? Around here (CT Northern Suburbs), security guards do not let you in without sanitizing your hands.

Very interesting!
We should flood the entire NDZ led NCCC with copies of this article suitably highlighted.
The problem is they are all to fik and dumb to be able to read and comprehend the numbers let alone the theory backing up the analysis.

UK where masks will only be mandated on the 24th of July apparently. I'm hoping people start wearing them now.
Not surprisingly it was already better over the weekend.

UK people in general are pretty compliant and just needed government to give them a push in the right direction.
(obviously there are still "muh freedoms" running around but the vast majority will be upset but do it anyway, it's a weird place in that sense)

My above is noted here: https://twitter.com/search?q=#NoMasks&src=trend_click

A lot of idiots that still think masks are do not work or spread diseases (I'm willing to bet it's the same people that wear gloves and no mask). They seem to think it's an authoritarian strike into the heart of their freedom and that it will lead to 5g vaccines causing autism or something.

But from a quick scroll, the larger portion are telling them to be considerate and respectful to others (in a very brittish disrespectful way which involves a lot of c*nts).
