I can nit-pick numbers to suit my narrative too...

Globally, 7 500 deaths (Convid-19). Flu 650 000 annually, so around 1 000 deaths just today.

But wait there is more...

In SA, around 22 000 TB deaths a year. This excluded those who had HIV. So that's about 60 deaths a day.

I can play this stupid little game of yours all day...

Italy has the highest average age in Europe, and who would have thought that the elderly are of higher risk of dying from Convid-19 /facepalm
*Let me guess, you also stacked up on toilet paper? :D
What he doesn't mention is that there were 68 000 deaths due to flu in 2013 and 2016.

Something seriously screwy with our lack of figures over the last day or so. All officially announced are people confirmed to have travelled overseas, yet I’ve seen multiple reports of cases that weren’t. Just been speaking to a hospital worker who says there is definitely a case from a Cape Town township but they’re not allowed to say which one.

He won't it doesn't fit his narrative..

That's the problem with these Doom Prophets. Scare scare scare, when it's utterly retarded to begin with. We have countries on lock-down, economies suffering HUGE losses which will also affect the elderly, and probably more than the virus would. If they don't die of the Virus, they will die of hunger as they can't afford to buy shyte cause of the markets. GJ!

The medical industry works very hard every day to fight the flu. New vaccines are developed every year to fight the various strains for the flu.

If they did nothing, the numbers would be even higher.

You ignore that fact.

You propose that nothing should be done and it is all hysterics. This is the start.

If nothing gets done it will kill 10 times the amount of people per day than flu does.

That is why it is not Nothing.

Sorry but nope, won't happen. You would like it to be the case, but sadly it will probably similar if you have a bigger sample group. But alas... Logic, fails you. Go dig your bunker or something :D

Yes because the flu has been around for 70 years, infected all corners of the globe, mutated to several different strains.

If the coronavirus is left to spread to that level, it will kill 10 times more people per year.

It has a higher mortality rate. That is why governments and the WHO are trying to flatten the curve to prevent widespread infections at the rate that you see with influenza.

Yup but of course the world is panicking over something the media has made scary. People keep saying we must stop saying it's like the flu bro. People should just be as weary of this as the flu. Flu still kills 600 000 a year world wide, that's 50 000 a month. The US alone has had 20 000 this season alone, 370 000 hospitalisations and 36 million infected, that's in 6 months.
This Corona virus will need to really ramp itself up, I mean first case was 1st December and we're only at 180k infected with under 8k dead?

It won't happen because unlike you, governments are not ignorant to the danger and high mortality rate.

That is why they are doing what they are doing.

That is the logical decision.
