Nah, hypertension and diabetes are the main underlying conditions. Considering US put corn syrup on deep fried chicken, I'd say they're pretty stuffed.

I am genuinely and completely amazed by Lupus' knowledge of all of the medical details and methodologies used, it is amazing actually, and to be frank unacceptable that the experts have not contacted him for comment on the crisis before they started locking cities down. I mean they just carry on with their idiotic quarantines and wartime triage methods to deal with the virus without even consulting him, what is this world coming to!

Nah, hypertension and diabetes are the main underlying conditions. Considering US corn syrup on deep fried chicken, I'd say they're pretty stuffed.

Hypertension is really only an issue if you are using ACE / ARB based drugs, calcium channel blockers seem to be alternative courses of action. But cardiology association of Europe still suggest to not stop your hypertension medication as the results are inconclusive.

The Imperial College in London has set up a faculty research group for COVID-19. They are advising the UK and US governments with their research.

Lupus needs to call them now and send them his research.
