Let me guess, you also didn't listen to the interview from a person in CPT who currently has the Virus and is an asthma sufferer right?

You won't beg for shyte. Andrew from CPT who they just interviewed on Jacaranda currently has it and has been in isolation since the 9th of March. He says and I quote: "I have had flu way worse than this" also, "it's about not infecting others, you will be fine, but we need to prevent it getting to the elderly"

Like I said, I can't be arsed... BRING ON CORONA! :D
You don't know how it will affect you. You're speculating that you'll be fine because someone else was. Fact is, some people have very bad reactions to it, and you might be one of them, or your child, or parent, or wife, who would contract it from you because you dont give a ****

Testing and isolating works:

Aggressive testing helps Italian town cut new coronavirus cases to zero
An infection control experiment that was rolled out in a small Italian community at the start of Europe’s coronavirus crisis has stopped all new infections in the town that was at the centre of the country’s outbreak.

The concept of letting it spread and hoping you know when's the right time to take action completely baffles my mind. There is far too little data at the moment to know if the plan will work and if it will have any effect over the next 18 months.

Not really practical for anything other than small towns. Good luck obtaining the number of tests kits for a city the size of London.

I know I'll be fine. Not speculating.

So yes, I don't give half a tit...

I haven't been following. It I believe there is an antibody test (as opposed to viral test) that will be released soon (heard it on Sky). That should be way cheaper and will confirm if you have had it before...

I wonder that they know the full effects of having been infected...
If you recall Zika was harmless until they discovered women who had been infected had a higher chance of giving birth to babies with microcephaly

That said I imagine the chances are low if it behaves like other coronaviruses, but how would, say, the chance of permanent impotence change your opinion?

I have 4 kids, balls tied. Still won't affect me in the least.

I do however agree we have no idea what lasting effect this can cause. But still not remotely shaken.

It's not practical for London anymore, it's too widespread. If preparations were made much earlier and NHS were doing testing from the beginning UK would most likely be heading in South Korea's direction as opposed to Italy.

Some cases (disclaimer - based on a very small sample size) show 20-30% reduced lung capacity after recovery. So you go for a brisk walk and you're out of breath. Speculation is that this capacity can be regained over time with exercise.

Pitbull in my opinion is the most hysterical one here and on the parallel thread , seems in great need to repeat constantly how he is/will be alright. I would think saying it once will be enough... but you know hysteria

Other than him , I didn't see any hysteria around.
