Oh dear...

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) says it has launched a review into a possible link between blood clots and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

It comes after four cases of serious blood clots were reported, one of them deadly.

Three of these cases were reported in the United States after authorisation of the vaccine. One case was reported during clinical trials in an unspecified country.

4 in how many millions of doses?
Difficult to say worldwide, but US has figures. One was actually during trial while three were during US rollout.

According to the below website, US has administered 5.38mil JJ doses.

They seem to start off small though. I don't think UK had a single case forge first few weeks, but now there's 70 odd with over 20 million. As it seems more likely to get clots with with younger people, it may be why it initially it seems ok as the older folks are the ones getting the jab.

Now that there's a possible link, more attention is beIng made when people are diagnosed with blood clots and having a covid vaccines. I do wonder though if most vaccines like the flu vaccine for instance has the same risk, but due to the lesser numbers and that it's not being administered by the thousands per day, the link hasn't been made.

Imagine taking an experimental vaccine for a ''pandemic'' with a survival rate of 99,97%.

So I am wondering, is your maths really so bad, or your statements compares to " Imagine washing your teeth every day because of one caries "

UK rollout being extended to people in their 40 tomorrow...
Did you get a 2nd date?

I was told I would be contacted in 8 to 10 weeks, while another person I know they booked his 2nd date on the day he went.

There doesn't seem to be a set procedure, I didn’t get a second date (we were told someone would phone nearer the time with an appointment) but other others that I know did get the second appointment on the day.

Damn. I was just told that I can expect a text within 12 weeks. I had the AZ, though, so wonder if there will even be enough to go around when the time comes.
