When the WHO, big Pharma and the vested interests in the medical regulatory environment use the term:

"There is no evidence...", they mean "there is no evidence we are prepared to accept".
Wait, so you went to the WHO and told them that based on the medicine prescribed to a patient sent home from a government hospital that you saw, the medication prescribed is EXACTLY the same as that prescribed for the flu... and they weren't prepared to accept your evidence? I can't believe it! Don't they know who you are? There is definitely some conspiracy afoot here. Definitely!

I would not even bother. Why lower myself to their level?

Well, based on the medicine prescribed to a patient sent home from a government hospital that I saw, he is one hundred per cent right. The medication prescribed is EXACTLY the same as that prescribed for the flu.
Well technically they can only prescribe medication that fights the symptoms, there really isn't anything that can fight the virus itself.

Technically speaking, that is the same reason why those with mild symptoms also feel better after taking med lemon and other similar home remedies as well.

Exactly, but med-lemon does have aspirin in it, which is great as an analgesic and there is menthol I think which helps clear sinuses, so it's medicinal, the other home-remedies may have some form of medicinal sides, may... Unless it's homeopathic.

I've missed you!!

You mean, "there's no evidence of human to human transmission" or "there is no need to close borders with China" or "there is no need to restrict international travel"?

The sentence is quite self explanatory, yes there was no evidence at the time according to Chinese data, the WHO cannot call them a liar because that goes into dangerous territory.

This, so much this.

If you don't land up in hospital, the other two more common things are you feel a bit off or you're in bed taking paracetomal, there's not much else that can be done.

BoJo changes his mind about how they intend to use covid passports more times than most people change their socks. So the new plan is no quarantine on return for those who have had both vaccinations who visit countries on the UK amber list.

Well, the data is pretty clear on the effect vaccines have, so sure, why not. Things change, you learn more.

An admission! What do you know. Now we need the doctors to admit the same.

Amazing how we often get taken a piss out of for "knowing better than the experts" by others, yet we often tien out to be correct in the long run.
The experts then get the excuse by saying "there was no evidence at the time".

Shame, did China not tell them???

This going to rightly piss off the British public. 'Rules for thee but not for me'. Just goes to these travel restrictions are all politics...no real scientific basis.

Countries with succesful containment programs still have no exit strategy, and lag in vaccine rollouts:
The percentage of people vaccinated is still below a quarter of the population - and that's for rich countries like Australia, Japan, New Zealand and the island of Taiwan where you would expect procurement to be as easy or difficult as for Europe and the US.

There is also hesitancy among some citizens, for instance in Hong Kong or Taiwan, who don't trust health authorities and vaccination safety, which is further slowing progress.
When Australia said its borders would remain closed until mid-2022, a public debate was sparked about how long it could remain a "hermit kingdom".

While there are no plans to fling the doors open, there is talk of gingerly stepping into a phased exit. Discussions are also under way about potential travel bubbles opening between various "safe" countries.

Yup. Why I continuously pointed this out to people who said Aus/NZ were an "unequivocal" success.
Yup they managed to prevent it getting in, woohoo. Now what? When the rest of the world opens up, besides SA because we're right royally screwed by the muppets in charge.
