FYI bleach also kills the virus, sulphuric acid also kills the virus, soap also kills the virus…
Bleach might kill it , Ivermectin doesn't and never will. Amazing that people who can't stop talking about it , don't even know how it works or what is the approved safe dose.

This is proof you react based on the posters name, not on the words written. Bias much??!

I was talking about vitamin D deficiency, not vaccines!!!!!

The Israeli research stated that out of 100 people hospitalized, some 26% (ie 26 people) died with low vitamin D levels, while only 3% (ie 3 people) died with normal levels. That is a 88% [((26-3)/26)x100] improvement (effectiveness), which is comparable to vaccines.
Your name is known around here for being associated with some pretty low IQ posts, so it's difficult not to react to it I'm afraid.

And once again you compare efficacy against death (out of a study of 100 people) to efficacy against infection. I don't know any of the main vaccines that have efficacy against death comparable to what you mentioned.

Yet you are the one calling VitD a miracle cure. Ideally, you want to be Vitamin D sufficient for general immune health and vaccinated.

Next you'll be saying people who are sufficiently hydrated have 90% efficacy improvement vs dehydrated people, comparable to vaccines!

Nice generalization.... me against you all!!!!

And low IQ posts compared to what? Your expert knowledge? Opinion? Seems like the only way to increase my IQ is to agree with yourPOV?

Vitamin D is NOT a miracle cure. No one has claimed the same. Many have suggested, including our Health department and some leading Profs in SA, that Vitamin D will help build up a compromised immune system, and is therefore prescribed by many doctors as well as issued by at least GP Health on the assumption that when the immune system is struggling against Covid 19, there might be a need above that which is normally available in our systems, especially for those forced indoors and not getting enough sun on a daily basis.

Anyone picked up on this earlier this year? Seems like there goes the control group..

Participants in Pfizer's vaccine study—some of whom had mounted a noisy campaign on social media—have been advised that anyone who wants one can receive the first of two shots by March 1. Participants in Moderna's vaccine trial are already getting immunized.

That wasn't always the plan, and some experts fear "unblinding" volunteers—that is, letting them know whether they got the vaccine or a placebo—could make it difficult to collect good, long-term data on the experimental vaccines, including how safe they are and when their immunity starts to wear off.

A bit dated is this article. But interesting nevertheless.
The punch lines that question whether the so-called trials have any value:

1.
Participants in Moderna's vaccine trial are already getting immunized.

That wasn't always the plan, and some experts fear "unblinding" volunteers—that is, letting them know whether they got the vaccine or a placebo—could make it difficult to collect good, long-term data on the experimental vaccines, including how safe they are and when their immunity starts to wear off

2. But others argue it would be unfair to leave trial participants unprotected from a raging pandemic when an effective vaccine is available.
3. Social justice says you should vaccinate all the placebo recipients as quickly as you can."
Ther are more disturbing statements. But I suppose the double-blind twice removed RCT proponents will have a ready-made answer why this is all okay.

And since it comes from me, than it has to be wrong????

If you have healthly levels of Zinc in your system, which you should already have with a balanced diet, there is no need to take extra Zinc, as with all the other vitamins.

So the fact that 26 people had low zinc could mean 26 people had terrible diets which is the most likely cause considering the link between obesity and zinc deficiency as well as covid and obesity.

You're not wrong, you just focus in on one thing and miss the point.

He is not focussing on one point. You are failing to understand the entire thread and picking up things out of context.

The entire point of all of these things IS that it has already been established that Covid 19 puts the immune system under strain, and that IF the person infected already has a compromised immune system due to comorbidities or diet deficiencies, THEN it is assumed that that person will benefit from being prescribed vitamins ( C, D,) plus zinc. It has also been suggested that taking the above supplements in times of high risk is a good idea. That is all, nothing more.
Why is it so difficult to understand where @Paulsie and others are coming from?

Well this is a new one...increasing the lockdown level over 0 cases.

Even though we have no positive cases at the moment, we do know that we had a positive case and that that person had some extensive, potential exposure in the Wellington region,” Hipkins said. The government would consider tightening restrictions further if cases start to emerge in the community outside the groups identified through contact tracing, he said.

There will be about 60000 fans at the stadium, and many more around it on the day of the final. Definitely not worth the financial boost.
It is just stupid beyond belief. What on earth is going on in the governments of the World?

It's connected to a bigger outbreak in Sydney, which was part of a travel bubble between Aus & NZ at the time:
How are the clusters growing? I mean they closed themselves off, oh right... Hope this will show they can't escape it if they want to be a functioning country in the world.
