Million Pfizer jabs face being dumped after Israel-UK swap deal fails

I wonder what the technical reasons are? Shipping?

It would require special shipping arrangements would also be my guess, Pfizer is the one that needs to be kept frozen to -60° until defrosted for use.

I wonder if Pfizer either owns or is using all the available specialized shipping fridges/units

Think we recieved 1.2 mil doses in June and we are much farther than the uk

That also must be many millions of Dollars worth of vaccines. So never mind the generally constrained supply it's a lot of money to simply flush away.

Singapore is run by Smarter People. This from sky.au
Ja Singapore was the "only" country that outright rejected the WHO crap about the virus not being airborne from the outset, and recommended masks, and plenty of fresh air, and not locking people up indoors.

The WHO grudgingly acknowledged this only in April 2021. And STILL flog this useless 'social distancing' crap of "3 - to 6 feet" as a measure to reduce infections.

The Heart Foundation still adds it's, now bigger logo, to margarine in spite of growing evidence of it being terrible for your cardiovascular system. It further advocates diets lean/free of animal fats as well as pushing wholegrain & wheat consumption.

Thank you, Lobbyists.

You do know that being vaccinated doesn’t stop you from getting infected, don’t you?
Not completely, but it does reduce the risk of admission. Look at the US for instance -- despite it largely being completely open for a few months, overall cases continue to fall. UK is a bit weird in that respect but UK tests way more people per day that all other European nations.

You’ve written a lot of bumpf to cloud the issue. If you know that being vaccinated doesn’t stop you from being infected why would you think your tweet was a big deal with “lots going on”?

  • A growing body of evidence indicates that people fully vaccinated with an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna) are less likely to have asymptomatic infection or to transmit SARS-CoV-2 to others. Studies are underway to learn more about the benefits of Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine. However, the risk for SARS-CoV-2 infection in fully vaccinated people cannot be completely eliminated as long as there is continued community transmission of the virus.

Last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released initial results from a studyTrusted Source on the real-world effectiveness of the two mRNA vaccines approved in the United States, those developed by Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna-NIAID.

Researchers collected weekly nasal swabs from all participants to see if they had any viral genetic material, regardless of whether they had COVID-19 symptoms.

They also collected an additional nasal swab and saliva sample if people developed symptoms.

The vaccines were 90 percent effective at blocking infections — symptomatic and asymptomatic — in people who had two doses of the vaccine, and 80 percent effective in people who had one dose.

That means there was a 90 percent decrease in infections in people who were fully vaccinated compared with a similar unvaccinated group of people

So you still don’t understand that a covid vaccination will not prevent infection?

It’s a really basic and easy to understand question, how about a yes/no answer?

So it's basically all over the place.

You do know that being vaccinated doesn’t stop you from getting infected, don’t you?
Also to note that the WHO only changed its recommendations regarding the testing of asymptomatic people once it has started showing that vaccines help reduce hospitalizations, but theres uncertainty as to transmission (as per above). As a result, the old "tracing asymptomatic cases is important due to their risk of transmission" went out the window overnight.

Still lots of white noise. Do you know that vaccination does not prevent infection?
