What's happening in Israel (genuine question) ? Weren't they the first country in the world to give the population a fourth shot?

Omicron doesn't care about booster shots. It's weird I'm sure I read that Pfizer were adapting their vaccine for Omicron. Also Australia are going ahead with vaccine mandate. Despite that Omicron doesn't care.

A perfect fact check!!

Dr interviewed on MSNBC

“With the omicron variant, kids are either going to get the vaccine, or they’re likely to get a serious condition of omicron.”
This was later challenged as misinformation. Reuters picked it up. Dr's representative stated:

Reuters verdict regarding the original statement on TV? Missing context!!

Our vax residents , will get stuck there

Or Reuters is now a dodgy site :ROFL::ROFL:

80% Of Serious COVID Cases Are Fully Vaccinated’ Says Ichilov Hospital Director

Israel has administered at least 17,902,871doses of COVID vaccines so far. Assuming every person needs 2 doses, that’s enough to have vaccinated about 98.9% of the country’s population.

That’s a high number of unvaccinated in such a small percentage of the population.

You can spin it any which way you like. Vaccinated or not, you can end up in hospital.

Sure, there are no guarantees. But looking at that data you posted surely it makes sense to cut the risks and get vaccinated?

I was responding to a poster that said it must be the unvaccinated that is causing the spike. I wanted to show him that it is not the whole truth. Both vaccinated and unvaccinated are causing the spike.

It has always been to you so why quote it?

But it proves to me that all misinformation is being picked up and reported, only difference is people like you cherry pick the bits that follows your narrative.

So thanks for the confirmation and let’s not hear another word about MSM towing a line.

Yeah, he was being sarcastic but what you did was prove that he was actually correct.

Meanwhile,if you reach 100% vaccinated 100% of cases would be vaccinated

20% of cases being in 1.1% of the population, now thats an interesting statistic, but hey "whatever" right

You haven't been around long enough to know I was being sarcastic.
Nothing against you, just making my post clear.

False positives are now being blamed on the children. Probably an inconsequential amount of false positives, but it begs the question, how many more sources of false positives are going to be discovered?
You'll find, like kids bunking school or adults taking a sickie now and then, people purposefully screwing with self-administered tests are a minority
There's little benefit to faking a positive test other than getting clicks

I had a false positive PCR done at a hospital. A second test came out negative a few days later. Even the “gold standard” gets it wrong sometimes I guess. For the record, those are the only PCRs I’ve done in the past 2 years. So if I was to be used as the national stat, it would be 50%. I’m not, of course, but I can see why things get muddied so quickly.

On a side note, one of our departmental managers, who was pushing back hard when HR sent out the instruction to get us WFH when the pandemic first started because he “couldn’t figure out why people were so scared of a cold” has been incapacitated with the Rona for going on 3 weeks now.

The cov-idiots are all so "tough" until it hits them hard, or takes out one of their loved ones.

Maybe he'll join the list of "diehards".

No doubt there are falsies, but between the dozens i've had already with no false positives my anecdote balances yours out by a significant margin again
Factor in my family and 0 false positives out of ~40,2 actual positives pre-vax that were re-confirmed too
