International roaming SMS failure

Can someone please help? My mother is in Europe at the moment and is trying to send SMS, but she gets failure messages everytime. However she can phone, she called me 3 times this morning. SHe also receives my SMS's. So why won't SMS work when she tries to send from her phone? She dials +27... when phoning/SMS to S.A.

V3G - maybe you can help? Let me know if your require her number. The phone is activated for international roaming as far as I know.

PM me her number with as much details as possible and an e-mail I can contact you on and I'll see what I can do.

Have you checked with the relevant Service Provider?

I believe it was the SMSC setting on her phone. Was set to 082... and should be +2782....
