International sites browsing very slow

Hi all.

I have an 8ta 60+60 gig account and using a Vodaphone MiFi router.
For the past couple of weeks, 90% of the time, browsing local sites is "normal" (reasonably fast) but all international sites load extremely slowly (this is also erratic, sometimes speed is fine)
I'm based in Northmead, Benoni. MiFi indicates connected to HSPDA and signal is good.

What could be the problem?

not sure, having been doing speed tests and at night international does not get above 1Mb/s, normally below, especially noticeable in evenings. Local is faster ranging 2.5-4 Mb/s.

Either limits of the tower being reached or 8ta is limiting/shaping international bandwidth...?

I experienced issues the other day but my international traffic is acting normal for a Friday night but haven't tried to download anything tonight as my bandwidth is coming to an end soon but will keep you posted closer to end of the month if I do experience hiccups with international traffic. Just find it frustrating at times when international traffic goes down you can do nothing cause most of the interesting websites are abroad and not locally hosted.

I am also on this package and I am experiencing the exact same problem, local sites and internet is perfectly fine, but as soon as I want to access international sites vir browser of ftp, it slows doen slower than the old 54k modems, its really frustrating. I havecalled 8ta on for occasions, everytime I get through to an operator the phone call just cuts me off, eventually got through to an operator who said she will ring me back, am still waiting for the call
