Hi. Could anyone give me some advice for a friend of mine. Neither of us no that much about internet connections beside dial up. She has applied for a adsl line with telkom but has been told that it could take up to a year to be installed. She doesen`t have any phone line at the moment as has moved into a new complex in Pretoria. She works from home and is currently using a friends pc to read her emails which she wont be able to do anymore from the end of the month. What can she use to access email without going to an internet cafe. We heard that connecting via vodacom is quite cheap but the data card costs a few thousand rand. What options does she have??
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks:confused:

Hi

Jonathan Earl Nole Norman Nathan Nigle Nemo Ned Nevin

You can try the Vodacom 3G/HSDPA bundles with data card on contract?

http://www.vodacom.co.za - click the advert banner above.

~R200 - R400 depending on the amount of data you are looking at per month with data card.

A year... lol

Yeh, look, if shes got wap phone and PC thats all she needs.

Just hook phone up to PC and away she goes.

She can use virgin/cellc/mtn or vodacom. Prices packages do vary quite a bit.
