Wow - a good article - melikes the link between internet adoption and the household income.
Basic conclusion is that - in order to grow, prices must drop to the mark where low-income households can afford it, and economies of scale will then occur. But trying to reach the "economies of scale" point by waiting for more people to take up the internet without first dropping the prices is stupid, foolish and will not work.
i.e. Drop the prices now, and you'll reach the economies of scale point quicky, if you can rollout fast enough. Bwaahahahahaha - rollout fast enough - i kill me.
