I liked this story. He tried to disguise his identity by using software like Photoshop to 'swirl' his portrait. A german expert managed to 'fix' the picture.

The photographs, thought to have been taken in Vietnam and Cambodia in 2002 and 2003, had been digitally altered to hide the obscure the man's identity.

But German police computer experts managed to unravel a "swirl" hiding his features to reveal a white man aged 35 to 40 with dark receding hair.
