Oh no sir, telscum media does not offer "internet" it only uses gigabytes / terabytes of bandwidth on our little old ASDL network. But no, you cannot use our ADSL network in local only mode. That is a right we reserve for our dear little telscum media company.

I really hope the Competition Commission jumps on them for this

Xbox 360 will support Media Room from October , so if you have a Xbox 360 you have a set-top box . Not sure if telkom will allow it tho (or can prevent it) , would prolly want to milk us for profits on set -top box sales as well the bastids

Didn't telkom use the Xbox as a test or something like that? Probably to reverse engineer it and re-sell the technology to us. (hope I didn't give em any ideas).

Having a minute cap kinda makes different line speeds kinda redundant. Just how fast do you really want to use up your 1gig?
