IS have balls, that's all I can say.
They probably will provide a better service, but will Telkom allow them a chance. Time will tell.

What makes Wireless so unstable is the Capital costs - as seen in the States. In Japan, where high densities exist in metro areas, there's hardly an inch not covered by a service provider. I think ICASA should maybe put some pressure on the Cell Operators as they are making a killing and most of the capex has been recovered.

I think the cell networks are pretty well represented but will the make the playing fields level is another story...especially with Telkom still being a major shareholder and service provider to them.

As far as I understand it, the 3G networks that the cell companies will be rolling out will be a layer on top of the current network... so they need to put down capital for new hardware and such things
