Businesses in South Africa are pulling investments as the government fumbles.

No serious company will invest in a failed state. Some may operate on limited budget if they stand to make billions from the corrupt government. But, for the biggest part, the economy has collapsed and there is no turning back. It will take many hundred years, after a new government is in place, before serious investors and companies will return. This is common economics. Just some people who refused to see the decline and collapse because their brains could not process the shock the past 29 years.
