Has anyone update their iPad mini (non retina) ? Is it noticeably more sluggish on iOS 8.0 ?

I'm hesitant here....finger poised above the download button...

When I upgraded my old iPhone 4 to iOS 7.0 it slowed my phone down to a crawl, and I don't want the same happening to my first generation iPad mini

Personal hotspot dissapear on ipad 4 (MTN) after updating to iOS 8. Anyone else noticed this?

Have you tried resetting network settings?

Otherwise they might need to push through a new carrier update.

You should be able to go back to iOS 7 for around another 24 hours while Apple is still. Just need to download the iOS 7 firmware file and have it handy, and then DFU mode restore back to iOS 7.

If you try after that, you will get an error as Apple would have stopped signing iOS 7. Don't take my word for it, but im 99.9% sure :)

Not that bad but definitely noticeable, animations dropping frames a lot.

Maybe I just expected it to be like Android which just gets more responsive with every release.
I was actually hoping for a small speed bump. My ipad 3 is getting very slow. Wish I could just flash cyanogenmod :p

Started the iPhone last night and it actually showed it started downloading and this morning it shows it is queued. Download the linked file now. Can't wait for Swiftkey, it is the thing I have missed the most from Android

Anyone else struggling with this? iPhone updated just fine - but have now tried 2 iPad Air .ispw files, and still get the same message?

Done updates on iPhone and iPad Mini and I can't see any difference. This looks more like a 7.2 than a 8.

iPad 2, literally can't see any changes....

You not going to see many aesthetic changes. 95% of the changes are happening under the hood, so to speak.

Haha. Ah yes, jailbreak is missed at times. More so on the older devices :)
