I was actually hoping for a small speed bump. My ipad 3 is getting very slow. Wish I could just flash cyanogenmod :p

Ever tried a Nexus 7? Then you'll know slow. Not even half the resolution and an extra two cores can help it.

The iPad 3 is a prime example of why Apple must never again rush a product to market.

Also had lag on iPad 3 , thought it was down to apps mostly, I have just updated 24 of them for IOS8 support.

Though limited on the 4S, the iOS8 experience is similar to iOS7, as long as Trexels are smooth I have no worries.

Camera+ is really awesome now, manual focus in videos, Air-snap... Can't wait to try them out.

I haven't decided if I'm going to update the iPad 3. I've still got to do a iPhone 5c, 4s, mini, and mini retina so I've got time to decide. :)

Don't get me started on that POS.

My experience isn't as bad as the video, similar, hilarious video nonetheless.

That's ****ty Android for ya. I had the 1st gen Nexus 7, and it lags like that every time I use it (which is rarely). Get an iPad mini if you want no lag. If you can't afford it stick with the N7 and root it.

Damn, that's bad. If it's the first gen, then perhaps, yes. I have only used the 2nd gen ones and they're super fast and smooth.

So I played around more & really loving it. SwiftKey rocks!

I like the 3rd party sharing intergration as well. I mailed WhatsApp to ask when will they update their App to allow this. Would be so much better sharing pictures from inside photos App than having to open WhatsApp to do so.

Yep, my two things I really wanted after switching to apple was swiftkey and sharing photos directly to whatsapp. 1 down 1 to go

I would like to think WhatsApp enables this sooner rather than later.

Also does the pull-down Quick Reply work for WhatsApp messages like they do for Texts?
