I am really starting to miss the SMS handover - this is gone - right?
Damn, that's bad. If it's the first gen, then perhaps, yes. I have only used the 2nd gen ones and they're super fast and smooth.
I think iOS6 was the last one that worked on the original ipad.Turns out two of my most heavily used apps are not iOS8 ready, so I guess I'll have to wait for a while because I can experience the new goodness.
Anyone have it on an original iPad? I still have mine, although it's packed up and cleaned up to be sold, so I'm not sure I want to mess about with it, especially if I'm not sure I can roll it back.

My 2¢ is if you're selling it don't upgrade - leave the choice up to the buyer.
5s seems snappier. Is this a new font but text seems smaller and a little more "modern".

What steps do I need to follow to install the upgrade on the handset (5s)
any difference on battery life? thats the main issue with me, lasts less than 4 hours
