IP Camers Issue

Hey Guys

I am stumped with this one. I have 2 Raysharp IP Cameras installed. Both cameras are running either directly into router, or via switch. I tried via a Hikvision NVR, and the same result.

The Issue

So the issue at present is that when its connected, i completely lose all internet connectivity. I assigned both cameras with an IP range of .200 on wards, as my other devices are ranging in the .100 range.

My router is set to auto, and tried to change the wifi channels, but to no avail. The IP config tool shows that both cameras are set to DHCP, but still wont change to the IP that i assigned it to.

The problem is the loss of connectivity, as i just cannot find where the issue is at present, and why its making me lose the connection all together. Im having to remove the cameras, and reboot the router to get my connection back up and running again

Sounds like the camera is taking the IP of the router.

Try a continious ping to the router, bring the camera online and see if the router drops off the network.

i added both cameras by assigning them their own IP range within the router. On the config tool i can see that the one camera shows up with the assigned IP, but not the 2nd one. At some point, im thinking that their is an overload somewhere on the Wifi, and its shutting me down.

Run some continous ping tests to a few devices and see what is dropping off.
Do the cameras support wired connection? Try that and see if its wifi related?

Will have a look and see. Running via Ethernet cables only

There are several things that are not clear in what you're saying at the moment, so lets clarify.

Your router runs DHCP server?
You assigned IP's to devices via MAC address on the DHCP server? or statically assigning to each device (I assume the dhcp server is then set to off if you're not using it?)
Your Wifi is on your router?
Do you have any other network devices with DHCP server on the network? (NVR, Wifi, Router?)

This is conflicting statement with your first post. Reset cameras, NVR and start over. Answer questions given by the other user.
