No, of course not. But take a closer look around at websites and you'll see it everywhere - even in newspapers. For some reason, the rest of the world seems to figure out just fine?
I don't think anyone is confused by it - it's just factually inaccurate. The product is called the "iPad" nothing more, nothing less.
