Crazy expensive.

I'll just stick to my Ipad Air 1.

We have come to accept / expect this kind of pricing

I paid R6299 for my iPad 3/16GB/Wifi + Cellular.

Those prices are crazy!

Core sold the iPad 2 for R4200 when the rand was stronger. Those were the days.

The Air 2 seems to be cheaper than the Air 1 prices from the beginning of this year. E.g. The Air 128gb wifi only was 11k beginning of the year.

Ipad Air 2 128gb is almost what I paid for my Surface Pro 3 with Core i5 128gb and HD4400 gfx.

The latter is hands down the best PC/laptop/ultrabook/large screen tablet I've ever used.

Haven't used my iPad in the 3 weeks since then.

Kindle for reading is still great.

WTF - crazy prices :wtf:

direct import I guess? even with all the taxes etc?

Any news on FNB offerings on the iPad Air's 2?

When the iphone 6 came out you could go int to the iStore and get deals there with the various providers including FNB so maybe they will do it for the new Air as well. (Or so I heard from another commenter, not sure what the arrangements arround that was)

Did iPad Air 1 and iPad mini 2 get price drops like in the US? They're now starting at $399 and $299
