Do you guys think that the Iphone 4G will have a 900mhz and 2100mhz radio for umts. Not just the old 850mhz american frequency.

Cell C will launching umts on the 900mhz frequency.

What does it matter what we think? At the moment the "iPhone 4G" is a made concept. Nothing has been announced as of yet.

Well it should support umts on 2100mhz as the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS supported this frequency. It also by far the most popular frequency for umts in the world and is used by Vodacom and MTN exclusively for umts.

Yes it's 44% better coverage(foot print) in urban areas atleast.

I'm in Durban on work and there seem to be a hell of a lot of areas that aren't covered by 3G properly.
