iPhone 5S stock availability and should I get the 16GB or wait for the 32GB?

For those wanting to know, the iPhone 5S is now also out of stock. The silly people at iStore online can't tell me when they'll be getting stock, though a rep at the Cresta iStore said they're expecting the 6 in about a week. He reckons the 5S could come along with that.

What I'm specifically looking for is the 5S 32GB. It has apparently become as rare as hen's teeth. The iStore online rep said that the 64GB has been discontinued - that I can believe, since it's no longer advertised on Apple's US online store. Only the 16GB and 32GB are available in 'murica.

Telkom Mobile can only offer me the poverty spec 5S, i.e., the 16GB. They've also run out of stock of the 32GB.

My main problem is that Telkom Mobile's offering of the 16GB for R349/month is expiring 20 November. iStore Cresta rep believes that the offer will be extended in the next Telkom leaflet. So do I get the 16GB and end my hassles but land up with the base model, or wait and hope that stock of the 32GB lands sometime before 2025 and that Telkom extends their offering?

Is the only difference between the two the memory? For me, 16GB is plenty but not sure your uses for the phone.
For what it's worth, probably gonna get the Telkom Mobile deal this weekend with the 16GB 5S. Keen on trying Apple again, but not keen on the 6/ 6+.
