iPhone 6+ is not showing caller ID after signing Vodacom data contract

Hi,

I have an iPhone 6+ and I'm on prepaid. I recently signed a 2 year data contract, and all of a sudden it's not showing caller ID on any of my incoming calls.

Never had this issue before.

Please help.

Call Vodacom and ask them to enable CLI again. it's not a phone problem...

Call vodacom and ask them to enable CLIP.... its a paid for service R10 per month if i remember correctly

Something is confusing, are you still on prepaid and signed a data contract which you got a separate SIM for and is in another device?

1)If the Prepaid SIM is in use on the iPhone then CLI will function by default on Prepaid.
2) If the Data Contract SIM is used in the iPhone then CLI WILL NOT FUNCTION as DATA CONTRACT SIM WILL NOT HAVE CLI ACTIVE ON IT - THIS IS FOR DATA.
Here is another story of - will run to forum BEFORE resolving with VC Customer channels.

Still using the prepaid SIM, somehow they add monthly data to this SIM.
I just wanted to see if anybody had a similar issue so that I'll know if Vodacom customer service is telling the truth, they don't care much when your handset is not on contract, and they'll most probably tell me it's my phone.

i have been on contract and pre paid for many years, and i don't recall being charged for caller ID.

CLIP (Calling Line Identity Presentation) has always charged for in my experience. Topup 135 contract? Actual debit order was R144.50 for example. It's free for prepaid.
