Indeed. Sales tax is about 10% depending in the State. Many people fail to take this into account when calculating prices.

Sales tax is dependent on the buyer's and seller's location, IE, only New York based stores (as defined) will add tax to your order if you're based in New York. Almost no stores will add tax to your order if you (or your package forwarder) is based in Oregon (IIRC).
