Stop the contracts folks.

Buy things cash. Get out of the “forced” 24 month renewals and use the devices for longer.

It’s a R208 per month if you use it for 4 years.

You can change providers any time you want and trailer usage exactly to your needs.

This, I stopped buying phones on contract years ago. I prefer buying cheaper phone cash and going prepaid, than an expensive phone on contract. I find that this way I keep phones for longer and I don't buy a phone I cant afford.

Sometimes but not always.

But more often than not people are paying for things they never use and it just gets pissed away, or they force themselves to use it for a perceived value.

Rather load up on airtime which never expires and buy as you need.

I contacted the iStore this morning to enquire when the new SE is expected to be available but they still couldn't confirm. Makes me wonder if it's not still a while to wait yet.

The 3D Touch layer of the display has actually been removed.

Ah, my suspicions stand corrected! So they just use the same battery with a different connector, then. Makes sense from an assembly standpoint. Disappointing, though.
