Dude if he doesn't wanna jailbreak ... leave him. It does sometimes cause performance issues, less RAM and lower battery life...

Apple and iPhone rule, the rest can just drool..........no going back for me. I won't have any other phone or computer in my house except an Apple device.

Although this is true - I'd like to see you provide an example of some way that Apple has limited capability in the iPhone that pertains to a need that you personally have.

Ugh, We would have gotten these phone's for the assessment company I supprt I.T wise, but fact that you can't bluetooth the pictures to other devices (we block usb data transfers to their laptops). Think this is still not included in OS 4?
-200 iPhone sales for vodacom I guess...

Still using mine though, jailbroken... :)

What must they drool about ? Having more screen real estate? Being able to install applications from anywhere? Having 5 or 8 or 12 megapixel cameras? Being able to multitask? Swapping out memory cards? I am failing to see what it is "the rest" can just drool about ?

Fair. Anything wrong with emailing pictures though?

Yes. Yes you are failing miserably to see what 'it' is.

If "it" is some kind of mystical feeling you get from using the device then yes - I am missing that.
What it seems like is that "it" is nothing more than blind love for a badge that looks like a fruit.

Yes, Vodacom is Raping us on Data costs. + - 100 pics at minimum 3MP per assessment. I'ts fine to wait at the office, where they transfer via Wifi, but no option on the road.
We tested Nokia, HTC's and Samsung. We opted for HTC's and all is fine, just this bloody WM6.5 and crashing/slowing down... One of the areas where iPhone outshines all the phones I've evr used, stability.
Hope WM7 improves!

How is bluetooth an option when you're on the road?

Why not use Blackberrys? Stable and cheap data. :)

To transfer to the Laptop, complete the assessment compilation and have the client sign, on site.
Blackberry afaik we can't implement any exchange GPO's, will need to investigate first.

As you have been told several times in the past: the iPhone may have limited features on paper but the implementation of those features is flawless. WM can do a hundred things that the iPhone can't do but that means nothing when you never really would use those features due to the unwieldy implementation and/or underpowered device.

Stop arguing specifications as an advantage. It is retarded.

Have you ever used an iPhone? Because it's totally feature-packed. No other phone has ever had so many software updates, and applications available. The screen is really super, it's incredibly large, bright and easy to read in the sun. Colours look excellent. In comparison, eg a 5800 looks dim and unsaturated. Regarding the camera, it's about sensor size, not megapixels. More pixels in a smaller area just create more noise. The iPhone's camera has really good white balance too. The touch interface is amazingly responsive and fluid, and believe it or not, user interface matters! The iPhone's is fast and simple so you get things done quickly and easily compared to other phones.

Nice move - get the concrete evidence out of the way so that we can talk about touchy feely stuffs.
Yeah, then the iPhone wins hands down bru.

Yea, 'cos it's the column upon column of features; ports; megapixels and stats in a spreadsheet about the device that you actually touch and feel, not the stuff you... uh... touch and feel right?
