iPhone trade-in from iStore: up to R5,000 cash back

R4000 for my 5 to put to my new 6......hmmmm

This might just put a spanner in my plans to switch to Windows/Lumia.

Please don't switch. My wife switched to Lumia and while it's definitely cheaper we keep running into small issues. Two nights ago we discovered there's no official Dropbox app. I'm sure there are third party apps somewhere, but it has to tell you something if even Dropbox hasn't bothered to create in-house support for Windows Phone.

Just my 2c. Good luck though, always a difficult decision.

There is a Dropbox app. I have a Lumia 920. Nothing wrong with the Lumia.

As for "it should tell you something", didn't know DropBox was the defacto standard if you wanted to know whether an OS was worth using.

Ah you're right. I have it on my Lumia though. Will have to check which app it is later (got my iPhone with me at the moment).

Edit: Come to think of it, I don't use Dropbox :p I use OneDrive lol. Works better for me as it integrates with mobile Office on my Lumia and iPhone.

I suppose the people that already secured their vouchers are shielded from the trade-in drop in value. Sucks that they shifted the goal posts though :twisted:

Looks like the 5 and 5c owners are getting the biggest kick in the teeth with it being a 1k drop for them.

Yeah, I am assuming the same considering I have a voucher for the original trade in value. Just checked the voucher and it is valid till 31 Jan 2015. There they are dated.

Also, agree that it is not cool.
