Haha but seriously. The forums is just a place for us locals to get together with more specific forum sections for each aspect of your iDevice like tutorials,apps and games, accessory discussion etc.

The main blog/site is just somewhere that I can share the latest Apple related news with you guys, tips, tutorials, reviews etc.

I'm not saying ditch here, but it's nice to interact with the local "iCommunity"
