Ipod Help!

Okay i cleaned my laptop. Thinking that i had all my music on my Ipod i didnt back it up anywere else. Now how the hell do i get my music off my IPod back onto my PC. Just want to check before i lose all my music.

Came up with a way, was just trying to see if the was anyone here who had a simple way of doing it. I just thought it should just sync normally but alas it does not.

Quickest way I found was a lil prog called PodPlayer - Just stick it on your iPod and run it. It's freeware. Just click the 'extract' button.

The most common software used for this is CopyPod. Will allow you to transfer music from your iPod to your PC, or even directly into iTunes.

Can therefore be used to import music from another iPod into your music library.

OK this is what i did, for future reference or incase anyone else every tried.
My Computer>Browse your ipod>ipod_control>
Copy the music folder to your hard drive on your pc and add it as a wathced folder.

To do the above you need to be able to view hidden files and folders, well it worked kept all the info and album art and everything else that i had.
