IPOD Nano screen cracked

Anyone know where in JHb I can get an ipod nano screen replaced it was cracked and now it has spread futher and cant see what is going on now anymore. and also what am I looking at price wise to get it fixed?

Sell it on bidorbuy for spares, go to your nearest cellular store and get a Nokia XpressMusic device.

There was another thread about a cracked screen somewhere a month or two back. The quote ended up being around the same price for a new one... so I reckon that unless it's a manufacturing fault and it's still under warranty, you'd be better off buying a new one.

see its my girlfriends and she not gonna be very happy just getting a new one. because it was a present to her. thats why was willing to find a repair centre to fix it for me.

So if anyone can give me contact details for a place that does them will be very happy. rather fix it and keep her happy.

I'll just buy a new one instead... you'll get a warranty with the new one, with the repaired one it's rather iffy. If it breaks after one month, then you're stuck with it anyway.

Keep in mind ipods aren't easy to work on due to their small and compact size.

Did you end up getting your screen replaced? Same thing has happened with one I'm using, and current price on ifixipods is R395...

Havent tried yet money has been a little tight so will try as soon as the cash comes in and the transport is there for me to use. should be another month or so
