Iran's judiciary chief vowed no leniency Sunday against the wave of unrest that has rocked the country since the death of young Kurdish woman Mahsa Amini in the custody of the morality police.

The warning by the head of the Judiciary, Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, came after nine nights of protests and street clashes and echoed earlier comments by ultra-conservative President Ebrahim Raisi.

At least 41 people have died so far, mostly protesters but including members of the Islamic republic's security forces, according to an official toll, although human rights groups say the real figure is higher.

The judiciary chief "emphasised the need for decisive action without leniency" against the core instigators of the "riots", the judiciary's Mizan Online website said.

Story behind hijab is authentic (Sahih Bukhari 1:4:148). Mad mohammed made up rules as he pleased and look now at billions of zealot idiots following them in 2022.

We've had MANY posts and threads even about this...where very vocal supporters of Islam claim that most women WANT to wear the hijab. That they see it as a form of respect for their religion and do not feel oppressed by wearing it.

I actually read this and thought that it makes sense then.

Why are these women burning hajibs? Or is this more a sign of fighting for general women's rights in Muslim countries?

Like burning bra's in the 70's?

Does it still look like that now?

ofcourse not, the point AfricanTech made was that Iran insists on sticking to antiquated beliefs, but the clip I posted shows an entire different picture

as to what it looks like now, the question has to be asked why does it look like it looks now, and I've already addressed this here

you forget those places were pretty liberal, until the US government gave fringe groups weapons to destablise the region, Iran was a secular democratic country before the US government couped them and installed their own regime

a similar thing happened in Afghanistan and Egypt

So as usual it's the USA's fault...not the insane Khomeini and his insane cohorts?

who gave them support?

the same with Saddam, and Osama Bin Laden, and the so called royals of Saudi, all received US government support or the US government created conditions for them to rise
What next? USA created Sharia Law ?

remember protests toppled the shah back in the 70's, so who knows how far these protests will go.

So this tall chick goes for a dump in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night, and some old perv watches her ( in the dark ) - nothing happens to him, but she now has to wear a bag on her head ?

This is the basis on which women are now killed ?
