After countless declarations of peaceful intentions of nuclear plan, Iran's chief nuclear envoy confirms fears by saying if county is threatened, situation will change

Iran's nuclear chief said his country has produced and stored 250 tons of the gas used as the feedstock for uranium enrichment, state-run television reported Friday.

Vice President Gholamreza Aghazadeh, who is also the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said Iran has kept the uranium hexaflouride gas, or UF-6, in underground tunnels at a nuclear facility in Isfahan to protect it from any possible attack.



"Today, we have produced more than 250 tons of UF-6. Should you visit Isfahan, you will see we have constructed tunnels that are almost unique in the world," State-run television quoted Aghazadeh as saying.

And when they have all these Nukes, what the blazes are they going to do with them?

The Cold War wasted Trillions of Dollars and what became of that?
Countless amounts of Weapons corroding and rusting away in the USA, Russia and other places. They realised that any form of Nuclear War would be the end of the planet and the end of us from the radioactive fallout etc.

But then again Iran has Dollars from Oil.

the only reason why a country would want nukes is to put them in a higher playing level. If Iran do in fact have Nukes any wanna-be invading country (eg. America) will think twice before invading them.

however if Iran choose to use their nukes as a first strike weapon, then retaliation against Iran would be devastating, but no one wants to turn a country with loads of oil into a radioactive pool of carnage, so it seems Iran has a lot in its favour.

in the worst case scenario we may be riding to work on horses in the near future, due to the cost of petrol and paying R150 for a pack of ciggies.

but it appears Iran simply want to protect themselves against the west - and after Iraq i know i would do the same thing.

If they wanted to make a dirty bomb, all they would have to do is collect all the DU (depleted Uranium) in Iraq, that the US used in their ammunitions

There were many tons... so not such a big ask, of course... we are told this stuff is harmless

Any country with a nuke is more or less impossible to invade. As soon as you crossed their border, they'd just send one nuke at your forces and that's the end of your invasion force.

... And speaking of Hezbollah, Israel's bombing campaign against them went real well against them, didn't it? Totally destroyed their ability to wage war, right?
