I'm using IE7 RC1.

On mybroadband & adsl pages, in the bottom left corner I get the "Done, but with errors on page." message. It happens on some other sites too. Webafrica comes to mind. On others it does not appear.

Also the skype icon no longer appears under my joining date on myadsl pages. A block appears in it's place.

Any help please? :o

I would suggest rolling back to IE6, because remember IE7 is in RC1 format - hopefully those problems will be sorted with the final release.

I generally dont have may problems with IE7, the beta's were crap, but like Vista the RC made a big differance.

Well if Firefox doesnt work for you either on pages like MyADSL then it cant be your brower. ANyway, enjoy surfing in the 90's with IE6.

I'd say double check that you have the latest Java and Adobe Flash Player, normally it's just a plugin or something that's not loading ;)

Edit: or an error on the page :D

Who would have the best chance to make the best internet browser for Windows XP & Vista?

a) The guys that have the source code for the OS

b) The guys that doesn't have the source code for the OS

Just my two cents.

Who would have the best chance of making a compliant browser?

a) The guys that consistently make their own standards in an effort to squeeze out competition
b) The guys who don't code for profit and actually read W3C specs

There's a reason why the majority of web developers hate IE with a passion.

Ja ja, I wanted to say 80's, its just that it feels so old to me these days when I see IE6. Its teribble :(

Yeah well all development for it stopped years ago. Just bug fixes since then.
I'm glad MS are releasing a new one that conforms to W3C standards a lot better but it's still going to be a pain for web developers.
You now have to use hacks for both IE6 and IE7.

People should start writing websites just for FF and Opera. If its a technology website or your own venture, do you really want people stupid enough to be using IE reading your web site?

Okay, wont work because around 70-90% or the web is still stupid enough..

Funny that you have to use hacks, I would have thought that by now those hack would be come the normal practise and and writing normally would be considered "hacks" to get things to work with FF or Opera.

Lol you write a site using css standards and the free browsers are the only ones that render it properly then you have to hack it to work in IE breaking something in FF and Opera again so write a hacked one and a normal one and run redirect scripts. Why can MS get it right ? They dont set the standard they need to conform.

Now that was a load of bull that you just wrote.

*I know you want to change the world and make it a better place, but there are other things that you can do?
