About EyeGym
Every person has muscles in each eye that can be trained and improved. The process skills can also be improved, and response skills of eye-hand, foot and body co-ordination can be enhanced. When people see more, they can assess the situation much quicker, therefore exercising their options, and ultimately making better decisions. It must be noted that 80-90% of decisions made in sport are based upon visual information! Developing visual skills includes learning to use both eyes together effectively. Having both eyes move, align and focus as a team enhances your ability to interpret and understand the potential visual information that is available to you. Once you see it correctly you can then process that information. You can train the input skill and improve the processing skill to improve the response. Johnny Wilkinson says it gave him more time to make better decisions. All he needed was to improve his visual skills. Most people are born with good eyesight but vision, the ability to identify, interpret and understand can be trained and improved.
Dr Calder has worked with South Africa’s top sportsmen and women, amongst others:
• The South African Cricket Team
• Numerous Representative Cricket Teams
.... long list on website.
This system promises a lot:

Now I think there is a massive difference between the training with Dr Calder, and the online version, but apparently the benefits of the online version is the same if I read the marketing.
As said , they promise you all this if you follow the online website system - 15 minutes a day. I doubt that these stars did the web-based training - wouldn't really have been a need to fly Dr Calder up there I reckon if it wasn't one-on-one training.
The demo is supposedly available here, but I get a 404 error

It did work a few weeks ago though.
Basically, you are instructed to click when you see a specific object (e.g. tennis ball),
you then see a few different types of balls coming from a location, and then when you identify the specific object, you click.
Isn't this exactly the premise of Fruit Ninja?
Anyone know the finer detail of this EyeGym? Anyone used it before?
I'm not questioning whether it helped all the superstars - I'm asking about the online version and whether it can have the positive effects it claims to have.
I sent this forum link to EyeGym as well, asking for input. If this online system is a great as they say then I'm up for it.
