Anyone have one and can give some stats on ping and download speeds internationally?

Intl pings 600ms-1600ms. You will become cannon fodder on any international FPS game server.

Can't complain about download speeds, though. With a good download manager, you should hit the max, the only restraint being your line speed and/or the package you buy.

p2p is shaped, more so during business hours, but not badly enough to make p2p apps unusable.

Your best friend will be a Rapidshare Premium account.
 
Speeds depends.

During the Day anything from 0.1KB/s to 100KB/s

During the Evening From 100KB/s to 460KB/s

IS 512K Uncapped Express Account
1MB / 4MB Line

How much do these accounts cost and can you use your own router?
 
I see this is the 10 day rolling window setup once again.
 
Threshold on all the accounts

384 - 15 GIG
512 - 30 GIG
1024 - 60 GIG

What is the use of it then?
 
The threshold is when a half rate limit kicks in. IE if you had a 1024mb line and did 60GB within the window period, then the half rate kicks in and you dropped to 512mb until the window period is over. It's still uncapped and you could potentially do several hundred GB.

And what kind of contract do you sign with this service?
 
No contracts, month to month.

Concurrent connections means you can connect from two places with the same username and password. IE from work and home.

Do you have to log off from the one connection or are both able to be online simultaneously?
 
I think you can use them simultaneously! Anyone who wants to try it and share an account with me (you paying 50%) please pm me....
 
Will the 384K package, for example, limit each line to 384K if multiple logins are used, or will the combined total be 384K?
 
So .. me and me mate dave can share the price of a 384 account.
That's R500 each and we get to not worry about being capped ever again.
Hmmmm ...

So lets see ... uncapped internet or a second hand Corsa Lite ...
