I have been gyming every morning for the past 3 weeks.
And i am really really starting to enjoy it.

I follow the body for life programme(1day upper body, 1day cardio, 1day lower body, 1day cardio, 1day upper body, 1day cardio, 1 day rest And then repeat)

But now i am thinking that it could be fun to go do a bit more cardio in the afternoons after work.
I am working at vodaworld so the gym is about 500m from my office door. So i wont be sitting in traffic or anything

Yes. that's pushing it. Its almost as important to get enough rest than it is training.

You should also not go to gym everyday of the week - take 1 days rest.

I go to the gym between 6 and 10 times a day and I'm ok.

That's where our smoking section is.

Going twice a day should not be a problem, obviously going twice a day 7 days a week is a problem.

split up your rest days, make sure ur supplementing properly to recover in time...Try alternate muscle groups to give them time to rebuild and recover..

Hey, so you work right next to me huh? (I'm in white building on the north side of the Vodacom/world complex). What gym is this?

No it's fine. There's lots to do at the gym besides workouts...Chat with the girls at the juice bar, Have a shower and a shave, Have a sauna or a steam if it strikes your fancy, watch TV in the chill out area, Have a meal, do a bit of shopping in the boutique, book a manicure or if you have really gross feet, then book a pedicure. Check all your vital stats on the machines to ensure your heart and arteries are still reasonably functional and remember Virgin is a lifestyle. It doesn't have to be all hard work. And I almost forgot, some gyms have internet, so you can waste time on the forums.

My SO joined the Virgin Active in Sandton.

' Much too busy for my liking there - it's like the gym equivalent of traveling on the highway !! Being a woman, I also prefer not to exercise with guys.

imho that is more than enough and would keep it there; used to do the B4L and it is an excellent program, well for myself anyways.

I used to go every week day for well over an hour; nothing wrong with going everyday depending on what you look at doing. Rest is extremely important but as long as you don't gym the same body part within 48 or so hours, you are good to go... assuming you don't become fatigued and you catch up on your carbs to compensate for the energy lost.
