Is iBursts proxy causing this? Whould I be able to get around it by using another proxy server?

no, thats a server message, it means the directory you are trying to access has directory listing turned off, also there are apache modules that don't allow directory traversal in URLs ( the ../../ bit) because alot of kids use that sort of method to attack web servers, like providing ../../../../../../etc/hosts to lunux web server scripts to read files to get further access.
