Having my new 4mbit ive found the international speeds terrible! Using a download manager im getting around 20-30kb/s... Thats worse than i was getting with my 384 line.

Is it IS that shapes home users during business hours or could it be that this 4mbit aint what its all cracked up to be? Surely i would get 1mbit min speeds as im paying for that

Don't think IS is coping with the upgrade (they did not even cope before). Friends on 4mbit accounts using SAIX have been getting quite decent speeds...

I've got a Telkom Internet and my international speeds are just as terrible.

I'm getting like 37kb/sec max international using a download manager - worse than the 384 line I upgraded from

wit international it is really slow....slower than my old 512 line....but for me i download mostly from local so im happy....just got +400kbps downloading prison break!
