Is it advisable to update MB driver?

Hi Guys

I noticed that there is a driver update for my Motherboard ...

Is it advisable to update the driver even though the pc works fine ... my mb is a dfi infinity nf4 sli.

Or should I handle it like bios - do fix something that aint broke ....

if I should update ... then how does one do it safely on xp?

I normally do a google search to confirm that the new driver works 100% before updating, but yes update the driver if you get a change. MB driver update is a exe on XP. Double click and of you go

I don't think that always applies to PC's since PC's and software are always broken Hence all the patches and updates.

It's always a good idea to get the latest updates and patches, but as qwagga pointed out, do your homework before you do.
