So I've got a friend who has a Rain Fixed LTE account through Afrihost. Fibre has now arrived in his area and he no longer has any need for his Rain account. Can anyone confirm if it's possible to transfer his Rain service to another Afrihost client, i.e. me?

On this subject, If anyone has one of the previous rain accounts that give you ±50GB or 100GB per month and no longer needs it then please pm me instead of canceling.
Believe it or not but where I am rain is the only one that has signal in my area.
The new unlimited Rain accounts don't work for me because the cost per GB is way to much in on-peak times, and the on-peak is when I need it most.
The previous rain packages that gave round about 50GB to100GB or similar is what I'm looking for and unfortunately not available anymore.
When I spoke to the various ISPs about it they said they will still be taking care of anyone who currently has the previous rain accounts, but anyone new will be using the Cell C network and not the Rain network.

You can yes. If the new owner is an Afrihost client you can request it be moved via email to support@afrihost.com.

You send the email first and when you get the auto reply send the subject to the new owner. He can then set the subject in his mail to the one you sent him. He states in the mail that he accepts the product transfer.

You can then wait for it to be done or you can contact support to do an immediate submission to the dev team to move it.

This can only be done between the 6th and the 14th of the month.

If they do not have an Afrihost account they will need to sign up for a 1GB free account and add billing in Clientzone before it can be transferred.

I am also looking for a Rain Fixed-LTE package between 50Gb & 100Gb in size.

Willing to pay original owner for the privilege & take over the contract.

Please PM any offers.
