The last vote for change of leading party was to prevent civil war (and to end Apartheid) and the next vote for change of leading party will be to save the country from ruin and total bankruptcy.

The wife and I are just finishing up the final paperwork for us emigrate at the end of the year, and take our skills, and our "white" daughter somewhere she will not be discriminated against. Somewhere her tax money benefits her, and where she can go on to get accepted into a university based on merit, not her skin colour.

We are not happy about it, but in all reality, this country is about to turn into a sh*tshow.

No it's not, in fact it's the time that SA needs it's people the most.

Ive thought of this question a lot. I dont think I would be able to lead the lifestyle and have the quality of life i have in SA anywhere else in the world. Also owning my own business here makes leaving a difficult decision - i doubt my Rands will take me far enough to be able to buy another business anywhere else in the world and I have no desire to ever work for someone else ever again. Its sad because the country has so much of potential but keeps shooting itself in the foot.

yea take your things and leave!
cowards!

South Africa needs us the most right now, and all you can think about is where can you go rape, plunder and steal next?

Easier said than done when you are a business owner. It's all turning to sh*t, but I am not the type of person to work for a boss, and starting a new business in a new country is as much of a risk as sticking around.

That and it's much harder to establish a business in developed-established/first world country.
