So we all know that 5g dl speeds are amazing but is it stable that's what im curious about?

I play a lot of online games, so I'm just curious how does 5G hold up in storms? do you get frequent disconnects? is the signal stable throughout the day? I don't want to get 5g then be continuously disconnecting from online games when there's a storm or from bad signal...

So Im interested if there's any gamers here with Rain 5g that can tell me what the experience is like?

On my side it's not stable enough for gaming. I also have to go move my router around frequently. 5G connection would be great one moment and then at other times it can't connect.

I think for normal browsing and watching something like Netflix it's great. For gaming not so much.

Also you'll have a strict NAT with Rain so there won't be any port forwarding.

Case in point. I enjoy playing Gwent but I lose a lot of games because they disconnect. Just lost one now. It's frustrating.

I paid people to come put my router on the roof. And even though I get great signal there, it just plain refuses to connect.

*edit*

And I'm struggling to post this.

Storms and bad weather will be the least of your concern, it can be clear sky and all and you will have horrible internet for gaming. I love online gaming and this frustrates me the most as it will have you not playing at all. The telkom lte that averages 5mbps on a bad day is more stable than rain 5G.

I wanted to grind some apex tonight and this is my current speed on 5G premium

i have been with Rain for months now and it does not help as they have constant network issues so i am just hoping they are able to get the network stable eventually. i do contact them when the issues are on going for a while though.
