Is Telkom LTE-A as good as fibre?

The local latency of Telkom LTE-A seems to be rather inconsistent. In the one test it's 214ms and in the other it's 25ms.

I'd like to see what the latency is like over an extended period of time - eg. a PingPlotter test over 24 hours - and compare that to VDSL and ADSL and Fibre PingPlotter tests over the same period. I think that would make for an interesting comparison.

Would the LTE-A service suffer from upstream congestion at different times of the day?

Telkom’s LTE-A speeds offer a compelling alternative to fixed-line broadband for high-speed connectivity.
If burstable speed is all that concerns you, yes... maybe.

Else... that is a BS claim thought up by engineers who don't care about jitter, latency or constant throughput at at decent up/down rate. It's because of this BS thinking that Telkom held this country's fixed line broadband back in the dark ages. Some 'clever' engineers would rather through a wireless solution at a problem just to get it off their desks. FTTH is the future. FIN.

What is PingPlotter and how do one use it. I would like to test my VDSL line...
