Hi there all,

I have a question regarding the Telkom 5 Gbyte FREEME and above Cellphone contracts.
Specifically regarding YouTube access.
For FREEME 5 Gbyte packages and above, supposedly Youtube access is for free.
But what exactly is free?
General YouTube access or YouTube streaming?

The reason is because if it is YouTube general site and video access that would be great BUT
YouTube streaming (which includes general access through the streaming SERVICE) carries a $35 a month subscription fee.

Here is an excerpt from the Telkom Ts and Cs dokument:
LIT Video is limited to the following OTT video providers. • Google Play Movies • Netflix • Showmax • YouTube

Can someone enlighten me on what the real deal is?

Hi there bwana, you wrote:
The subscription YouTube TV service isn't available in SA so it's just plain old youtube.com
Thank you for your quick reply. That would mean that for anyone who is a YouTube junkie this would actually be a great deal!
