damn technology is amazing now days, a server that holds newspapers, what will they think of next?

No - it serves them - I dont think that it can hold them though because there are too many of them.

One more thing: My newspaper has both local and international content and the news server guy always says, "Have a nice day!" Great server!

Just like tell let everyone know(who cares), that i have just done my 3rd year IST presentation, soo entire years worth of analysis and programming is officially over and i can now watch those hundreds of pirated thingies(u know what im talking about) and be a lazy bum while i get ready for my exams in 2week,lol AND THEN i have 4months of holidays!

Dont hate me because im a student ;)

Hey guys,

I'm also new to this whole IS news server thing and was actually looking around for stuff, the problem is, whenever i do find something that I want to download, it's usually got parts missing....:mad: can anyone give me any info on this and how to fix it or something.

Soz...only had my ADSL for a month now :eek:

IS news server is nice, when u can actually get 50kb per sec constantly from it. BUt cuz of all the 1mbit and 4mbit users who rape it. Most ppl only get 10kb per sec and random spikes to 30kb per sec most of the time.

Yeah - maybe you wanna direct those accusations to IS who's providing the service. :rolleyes:

IS provides the service, but even a ISP like IS has limits. Also they were cought from behind by "you know who" on this 1mbit to upto 4mbit upgrades.

Basically they could not handle the load. and the network is still cripple'd.

Dont be jealous, just cause we are willing to pay more for a faster service doesnt me we shouldnt be allowed to use it to it full potential ;)
