Clearly uncapped LTE is being throttled.. but hopefully we dont get throttled to a point where the service is is unusable

No, during the day, it's limited to 10mbps. Before 5am I ran a speed test and get 40mbps +. The reason I say it's throttled it that it sits at 10mbps constant. When I first signed up with both contracts I was getting 75mbps. So sad that it now has to be throttled to 10mbps, which now makes Skyfi 10mbps cheaper. So I'm switching in the next few months as my 2 year contract is up. It's not any load on the tower as it never dips below 10mbps.

My capped package gets full 40-50mbps anytime and both LTE routers are on the same frequency, in the same location connecting to the same tower.

How many gb's have you use this month?. I would be happy if i got 10mbps at night to be honest, try streaming anything on 1~3mbps :p

Can you swop the sims to make sure it is not the router? I get full speed all the time on uncapped. I'm at 308 gigs and have yet to be capped aka dropped to 4Mbps.

I have a similar issue,
Used to get speeds up to 45Mbps, nowdays I dont seem to achieve anything over 17, and usually (mostly during the day), it is limited to a speed of 10-12Mbps.
Have not hit any FUPs. My usage for the month is about 60 Gigs.

Went as far, as to realign my aerial outside thinking it might have moved. Got an RSRP of -64, and a SNR of about 15. Did notice that on a 2300 my SNR fluctuates between -2 to 17. On the 1800 it stays between 12-15. Signal is still excellent, and there shouldnt be no reason why my internet has slowed down but yeah...

On a positive note, my body corporate is looking to install Fibre into our complex, so if Telkom dont get their act together...

Have you guys heard anything about a company called Net Stream? They are the ones that will most likely pull fibre to our units.

These are my results for the past month. i did have a little bit of **** at the start of the month as i think there are a few people that are flat lining the net here. But otherwise its rather decent.

Here's the data from your app, looks like I'm limited to 10mbps at all times now.

Snip

Sorry if this has been asked before as I'm too lazy to read, Is this on a PC connected to the router via LAN or are you connected via Wifi?
If LAN have you checked if your card is not limited to 10mbps under the Duplex settings? I just can't think why you will be throttled and not me. Have you tried talking to one of the usless online agents?, maybe you are lucky enough to get one that is actually helpful and doenst just respond with the Telkom service number.

No, it's not my devices that are limited, it's the uncapped LTE. I'm still fighting with telkom, nobody seems to understand what's going on. My contract is almost up anyhow.

I still have +- 8 months left. Hopefully in 8 months time there will be fiber in Pretoria, How and why Pretoria does not have fiber but Hartbeespoort dam has, honestly baffels the mind. But Ja.
There is honestly no use in me having +- 30bmps during the day (when im not home), and at night when i arrive home I get 3mbps. I have reverted back to buying Blurays as Telkom does not allow me to stream anything. My old 4mbps ADSL was MUCH more stable than this ****.
