Is there a relaxed cap with Telkom 3GB

im new to this kind of thing and was wondering if you are able to download more than your cap with telkom service provider.

please help!!!!

Are you sure the isp is telkom and it is 1gb bandwidth? I am not aware of that offering from them. Also can't find it on their website.

Yes, it is true. I doubt however that he would reach that limit nowadays. Earlier the year maybe unless he is lucky. Most people get about 8 - 12gb.

All depends on how often you exceed your cap. If its quite often then youll only get an average usage of about 10-13gb on a 3gb cap...

Telkom, i think, are one of the only ISPs that offer this relaxed capping policy. Correct me if I am wrong, someone more wise than I.

Yes thats correct, dont know if im more wise ;p but Afaik Telkom is the only ISP that allows that, as they own the network... are you suprised? If telkom internet didnt have so many problems i think everybody would use them...

yes it does happen alot! it seems this happens on telkom accounts expecially, but i could be wrong!

Only Telkom accounts at the moment.

Unlike other ISPs, Telkom don't have to lease bandwidth from anyone.

Because of this, they can operate a "capping pool" system. Not many people actually understand how it works, least of all Telkom themselves, but the end result is that you can often download huge amounts over and above your advertised "cap".

But it's more or less random. You could get 3GB or 25GB. Luck of the draw.

nothing to do with luck of the draw. I always get over 6gb with any of my Telkom accounts. The one I'm using now is currently sitting at 6gb and I'm downloading even more. Before the next 24hour reset it will be sitting at 10gb.
